Partnerships
We consider collaborations that are relevant to rugby readers and fit Emerald Rugby Journal's independent editorial approach. Proposals should explain the idea, intended audience and any commercial or material arrangement.
Ways to collaborate
Possibilities include clearly separated partner features, event or project notices, useful reader resources and partner placements across the website. We consider whether a proposal contributes something relevant without crowding out editorial work or making an endorsement appear to be independent reporting.
Partner placements
Placements may appear in more than one part of the website where appropriate. Their paid or partner status will be plainly labelled, and descriptions will not imply that inclusion is a review, recommendation or editorial approval. We do not accept placements that disguise commercial material as independent coverage.
Editorial boundaries
Partners cannot buy control of editorial conclusions, corrections or coverage decisions. Any supplied products, services or other support relevant to a piece should be disclosed clearly. We may decline proposals that are misleading, unrelated to readers or incompatible with a transparent publication.
Making a proposal
Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Describe the proposed collaboration, what would be supplied or paid for, and where you imagine it appearing. A proposal is for consideration, not a commitment to publish or place material.
Rugby belongs to everyone who makes room for it
The game is shaped by more than the action on the pitch. Its kit, customs and shared work deserve a closer look.
